Refugees

The debate about refugees seems recently to be more controversial with some parts of the media being very hostile. I feel it is a crucial topic to address since people persecuted in their own countries often have no option other than to seek asylum. Many critics question how it is possible to distinguish authentic asylum seekers from so called economic migrants. However, that discussion is too complex for this blog particularly since we should remember that economic migrants also have human rights. Whatever your view, detention of refugees should be humane but often that is not the case. So below is a site that aims to improve the conditions of asylum seekers with an action section:
